Analyzer Test Port Cables

Analyzer test port cables connect the output ports of vector network analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, and signal analyzers to the device under test or external test fixtures. These cables are engineered for phase stability, low insertion loss, and consistent electrical performance across wide frequency ranges — characteristics that are critical when the cable is included within the calibrated measurement path. Unlike general-purpose RF cables, test port cables maintain tight impedance tolerances and minimize reflections that would otherwise degrade measurement accuracy.

Available in armored and semi-flexible constructions, test port cables are designed to withstand repeated flexure in laboratory environments while maintaining their electrical characteristics. Common connector types include Type-N, SMA, 3.5 mm, 2.92 mm, and 2.4 mm, with frequency ratings up to 67 GHz for millimeter-wave VNA applications.
