The Fluke Calibration 5618B-12-P is a secondary-standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PRT) probe designed for precision temperature measurement and calibration in critical applications. With a 3.2 mm diameter sheath and 12-inch immersion depth, it combines accurate measurements with reduced response time, making it ideal for applications where space is limited. Each probe includes NVLAP-accredited calibration with ITS-90 coefficients and is traceable to NIST standards.
The small diameter design minimizes heat conduction between the ambient environment and the sensor, reducing measurement errors in shallow immersion depth applications where larger probes would conduct excess heat.
