Overview
The VIAVI Xgig 4K4 is a PCIe and NVMe protocol analyzer designed for advanced debugging and validation of high-speed PCIe interfaces. Supporting full PCIe 4.0 operation at 16 GTps with backward compatibility to PCIe 2.5, 5.0, and 8.0 GTps, the analyzer provides comprehensive observability across all OSI layers of the PCIe stack. The device features interposer autotuning that automatically restores signal integrity, reducing setup time and improving measurement accuracy. It is used across IC development, firmware and driver validation, subsystem and system-level testing, and performance analysis.
