EXFO MAX630-A2XAB G.fast Tester

Overview

The EXFO MAX630-A2XAB is a G.fast field tester designed for service providers deploying next-generation copper access technologies in Fiber-to-the-Distribution-Point (FTTdp) and Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) environments. It provides backward compatibility with VDSL2 35b, vectoring-enabled VDSL2, VDSL2 bonding, and ADSL2+ with single-pair and bonded-pair testing capability. The MAX630 combines a small rugged form factor with a large touchscreen display for easy field operation and rapid job closure.

Field-upgradeable software enables service providers to upgrade to G.fast testing in seconds without hardware replacement. The device features automated testing procedures with clear pass/fail conclusions, integrated Speedtest by Ookla for throughput validation, and IPTV/VoIP quality-of-service (QoS) verification. Results can be uploaded directly to the cloud or via the EXFO Sync mobile application for post-test analytics and report compilation.
