Overview
The AMETEK Programmable Power ETS (Embedded TerraSAS) is a photovoltaic simulator specifically designed to emulate the dynamic electrical behavior of terrestrial solar arrays for inverter testing. It combines a high-performance power supply with an advanced I-V curve generator in a compact, standalone unit.
Available in multiple configurations (ETS 60/80/150 for micro-inverters and DC optimizers, ETS 600/1000 for string inverters), the TerraSAS series is engineered to support the advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms used in modern grid-tied inverters, with output response 10 times faster than traditional power supplies.
