Overview
The Bird 8745 is a water-cooled RF load termination designed for high-power broadband applications. Part of the 8740 Series, this compact, low VSWR termination is engineered for use in high-power transmitter and transmission line systems. The water cooling directly absorbs RF power converted to heat in the resistive film load resistor, enabling efficient long-term dissipation with minimal ambient heat generation.
