Overview

The Rohde & Schwarz FS-SNS40 is a smart noise source for precision noise figure and gain measurements from 100 MHz to 40 GHz. It automates the measurement process by electronically providing ENR tables and environmental temperature data to connected analyzers, eliminating manual correction procedures and reducing measurement uncertainty.

The FS-SNS40 connects via a 7-pin cable to compatible test instruments including the FSW, FSV/A3000, FPS, FPL1000 spectrum analyzers, FSWP phase noise analyzer, FSMR3000 measuring receiver, and ZNL network analyzer.
