Overview

The Emerson TREX Device Communicator PLUS is a portable field instrument for commissioning, configuring, and troubleshooting HART and Foundation Fieldbus devices. The rugged device is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments including impacts, moisture, and temperature extremes while maintaining intrinsic safety standards to prevent static discharge in hazardous areas.

The TREX features a 5.7" resistive touchscreen optimized for use with work gloves and includes onboard diagnostic applications through Upgrade Studio. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides full-shift operation with 32 GB of storage for applications and field data. Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC enables flexible field data management and remote app provisioning.
