Overview
The AMS Trex Device Communicator is a portable, rugged handheld instrument designed for field diagnostics, configuration, and troubleshooting of process control devices. Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, the Trex is intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas and meets global safety standards (ATEX, CSA, IECEx, FISCO). Technicians can diagnose device problems on-site without bringing equipment back to the shop, reducing downtime and improving maintenance efficiency.
The communicator features a 5.7-inch resistive touchscreen display for operation with work gloves, and comes pre-loaded with device descriptions for over 2,500 HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and Bluetooth devices.
