AEMC DTR8511 Digital Transformer Ratiometer

Overview

The DTR 8511 is a portable digital transformer turns ratiometer designed for on-site testing of power, potential, and current transformers. When connected to a non-energized transformer, it accurately measures primary to secondary turns ratio while simultaneously displaying polarity and excitation current. The DTR 8511 is fully automatic and uses an ANSI/IEEE compliant test method with no user calibration, range selection, or hand cranking required. At each measurement, it automatically self-calibrates and checks for open windings, short circuits, incorrect lead placement, and reverse polarity.
