Overview

The Pico Technology 9404-16 is a PC-based USB sampler-extended real-time oscilloscope (SXRTO) with 16 GHz bandwidth and 4 channels for simultaneous capture and analysis of high-speed signals. With 12-bit ADC resolution and 500 MS/s real-time sampling, it is the highest-bandwidth model in the 9400 Series, ideal for demanding RF, microwave, and gigabit digital system measurements.

The 9404-16 provides four identical channels for multi-channel signal comparison and synchronized measurements with 0.4 ps trigger placement resolution. The sampler-extended architecture enables pulse and step transition capture down to 22 ps and impulse capture down to 45 ps. The included PicoSample 4 software provides touch-compatible operation with advanced triggering options including optional 5 or 8 Gb/s clock recovery.
