Overview

The Tektronix TDS540D is a 500 MHz digital phosphor oscilloscope (DPO) representing the first in the TDS family of DPOs designed for advanced electronic design and debug applications. The DPO architecture delivers a new level of signal insight by capturing, storing, displaying, and analyzing three dimensions of signal information in real-time: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time. The resulting intensity information provides direct interpretation of signal dynamics, including instantaneous changes and the frequency of event occurrence.
