The Tektronix 2-ULTIMATE is a software bundle option for 2 Series MSO oscilloscopes that combines a 50 MHz arbitrary/function generator with comprehensive serial protocol triggering and analysis capabilities. It provides advanced tools for debugging and analyzing serial communications across multiple embedded design bus standards.
Arbitrary/Function Generator
The 50 MHz arbitrary function generator is ideal for simulating sensor signals, adding noise for margin testing, or generating custom waveforms. The AFG output is multiplexed with the auxiliary output. Predefined waveforms include sine, square, pulse, ramp/triangle, DC, noise, sinc, gaussian, lorentz, exponential rise/fall, haversine, and cardiac patterns.
Serial Protocol Triggering and Analysis
The bundle includes robust serial bus support for I2C, SPI, RS-232/422/485/UART, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and SENT protocols. Trigger on specific packet content including start of packet, addresses, data patterns, unique identifiers, and error conditions.
