Description
Overview
The Keysight MXR2RTSA/320 is a real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA) and digital down-conversion (DDC) module for Infiniium MXR-Series oscilloscopes. It extends the standard 40 MHz analysis bandwidth to 320 MHz for RTSA and 2 GHz for DDC across multiple independent center frequencies, enabling detailed examination of complex modulated signals and transient RF events. With up to 200,000 FFT plots per second, RTSA reliably captures fleeting signals such as Bluetooth transmissions that standard FFT-based analysis may miss.
Key Features
- 320 MHz real-time spectrum analysis bandwidth with independent center frequency control on 4 or 8 channels
- 2 GHz digital down-conversion (DDC) span for demodulation and I/Q signal analysis
- Frequency mask trigger (FMT) for automated capture of specific signal patterns
- Up to 200,000 FFT plots per second for reliable capture of transient signals
- Optional Frequency Extension (MXR2FRE) extends frequency range to 6 GHz
- MATLAB and VSA software integration for advanced signal analysis
Applications
- 5G FR1 signal analysis and characterization
- ZigBee and ISM band signal capture
- Bluetooth transient signal acquisition
- Multi-band RF signal monitoring
- Advanced modulation and demodulation analysis
