Overview

The Megger 1000-809 is a specialized lead set designed for measuring the lightning protection circuit resistance of wind turbines. It consists of two cables: a 5m probing cable with duplex handspike for accessing lightning receptors on turbine blade tips, and a 100m connection cable with a Kelvin clip. The entire system was developed in conjunction with a leading wind turbine manufacturer to ensure reliable and accurate measurements in field conditions.
