Overview
The Panametrics Moisture Image Series probe is an aluminum oxide moisture sensor designed to measure moisture concentration in gases and nonaqueous liquids from trace levels to saturation. It is used with the Moisture Image Series 1 analyzer and PM880 portable hygrometer and has established itself as the industry standard for industrial moisture measurement for over 40 years.
The probe features an intrinsically safe design that eliminates the need for explosion-proof housings or external protective elements in hazardous areas. It includes optional built-in temperature and pressure sensing capabilities, enabling comprehensive process monitoring without separate sensors. The microprocessor-based electronics provide 16-bit resolution for detecting parts per billion (ppb) changes in moisture concentration and automatically compensate for long-term stability.
