Its patented oxide film design provides true absolute humidity response with exceptional speed and stability, making it the industrial standard for moisture measurement across more than 40 years of field use.
The sensor operates by water vapor absorption through a gold-coated porous oxide layer; the number of absorbed molecules determines pore wall conductivity, which directly correlates to vapor pressure. The probe's design enables remote installation up to 2,000 feet (610 m) from the console with minimal measurement lag and sample contamination.
