Description
Overview
The Fluke PRV240 is a portable, pocket-sized, battery-powered voltage source designed to verify that electrical test tools are operating properly before conducting measurements. It provides stable AC and DC voltages for both high impedance (HiZ) and low impedance (LoZ) instruments, including multimeters, clamp meters, and two-pole testers.
The PRV240 supports the Test Before Touch (TBT) safety concept, which is recommended in GS38 and NFPA 70E guidelines. By testing your meter against a known live source before and after actual measurements, you verify proper operation while reducing shock and arc flash risk hazards without requiring bulky PPE.
