Overview
The RKI Instruments 61-5008RK is a portable, intrinsically safe gas detector designed for crude oil tanker applications. It combines infrared (NDIR), galvanic cell, and electrochemical cell sensors to detect methane (CH4), hydrocarbons (HC), oxygen (O2), and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). The unit features dual-range detection capability and datalogging functionality for up to 30 hours of interval trend recording.
