Enclosures

Field instrument enclosures are protective housings designed to deploy portable test and calibration equipment in outdoor, remote, or harsh environments. They shield sensitive instruments — such as pressure calibrators, reference standards, and data loggers — from rain, dust, UV radiation, extreme temperatures, and physical impact during extended field measurement campaigns. Ruggedized construction enables unattended or semi-attended operation of precision equipment in locations where controlled indoor conditions are unavailable.

Purpose-built enclosures for process instrumentation often include flexible mounting options for poles or fixed structures, integrated cable management, and optional power solutions such as solar panels or battery systems. This allows high-accuracy instruments to remain operational at remote pipeline sites, outdoor monitoring stations, and temporary industrial installations without compromising measurement integrity.

Typical Applications

  • Outdoor pressure and flow measurement at remote pipeline and utility locations
  • Long-term field calibration and verification of process transmitters and gauges
  • Environmental monitoring stations with solar or battery power capability
  • Temporary instrumentation setups at construction and industrial sites
  • Deployment of data loggers in uncontrolled ambient climatic conditions
