EMC Accessories
EMC Accessories
EMC accessories encompass the supporting components and ancillary tools used alongside primary EMC test equipment to facilitate complete electromagnetic compatibility testing workflows. These include line impedance stabilization networks (LISNs), current probes, bulk current injection (BCI) clamps, RF absorbers, antenna mounts, test cables, shielding enclosures, and calibration accessories. Together, these components enable accurate, repeatable measurements in both accredited test facilities and in-house pre-compliance test setups.
Proper selection of EMC accessories is critical to achieving valid test results. Accessories must be matched to the frequency range, power level, and impedance requirements of the test setup and in many cases must themselves be calibrated or verified against traceable standards to ensure measurement traceability.
Typical Applications
- LISNs for conducted emissions testing on mains-powered equipment per CISPR standards
- Current probes and BCI clamps for conducted immunity testing on cables and wire harnesses
- Antenna calibration accessories and antenna masts for radiated emissions test sites
- RF shielding and ferrite absorbers for reducing ambient interference in test environments
- Calibration and verification accessories for EMC test receivers and spectrum analyzers
