Overview

The Keysight RP7952A is a 500 V, ±40 A, 10 kW bidirectional/regenerative power system designed for high-power testing of hybrid and electric vehicles. Operating in two-quadrant mode, it seamlessly sources and sinks current while emulating high-voltage battery behavior with programmable internal resistance. The regenerative design returns energy to the grid cleanly, reducing both energy costs and cooling requirements.
