Overview

The Keysight RP7951A is a 500 V, ±20 A, 5 kW bidirectional/regenerative power system designed for testing energy storage systems and power converters. Operating in two-quadrant mode, it provides seamless transitions between sourcing and sinking current without disruptive behavior. The regenerative capability returns approximately 90% of energy to the grid, significantly reducing cooling and electricity costs compared to traditional electronic loads.
