Description
Overview
The Keysight E4351B is a One-Box Solar Array Simulator (SAS) — a 480W dc power source designed to simulate the output characteristics of solar photovoltaic arrays. Operating as a precision current source with very low output capacitance, it generates programmable I-V curves that replicate array behavior under various conditions, with support for both simulation and mixed operating modes.
Key Features
- 480W maximum output power
- Dual-mode operation: Simulator mode and Mixed mode
- Low output capacitance for accurate I-V simulation
- Programmable curves via IEEE-488.2 (GPIB)
- Up to 60 volatile and non-volatile curve tables
- Simulation mode: 0–130V, 0–4A
- Mixed mode: 0–120V, 0–4A
Applications
- Solar photovoltaic array testing and characterization
- Space power systems testing
- Mixed-mode power supply testing
