Overview
The SMC PTE-50-CE is a portable single phase relay test set designed for efficient in-field and laboratory protective relay testing. It features a reversible 100-VA amplifier capable of injecting up to 50A or 150V with excellent stability and low distortion, completely isolated from the power supply. The electronically synthesized waveform can generate harmonics from the 1st to 7th of the supply frequency, with various output ranges maintaining constant 100VA power throughout the settings scale. The system includes automatic protections against overload and overheating.
