Overview
The Fluke 9172-B-156 is a precision dry block metrology well for temperature calibration of RTDs, thermocouples, and thermistors. It provides stable, accurate temperatures from 35°C to 425°C with display accuracy of ±0.2°C at 425°C and exceptional stability of ±0.005°C to ±0.01°C. The 203 mm (8 in) immersion depth minimizes stem conduction errors, and the unit includes RS-232 serial interface and compatibility with Model 9938 MET/TEMP II software for fully automated calibration.

9170 Series Metrology Wells
The Fluke Hart Metrology Wells serve as stable heat sources for laboratory and field use with calibrated displays. These wells feature interchangeable probe sleeves accommodating probes of varying diameters and use PRT (Platinum Resistance Thermometer) sensors with thermoelectric modules or heaters.
