Liquid Instruments is an Australian test and measurement company that develops the Moku platform — a series of FPGA-based reconfigurable instruments that replace multiple benchtop instruments in a single compact device. Moku:Lab and Moku:Pro can be configured via software to function simultaneously as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, lock-in amplifiers, spectrum analyzers, PID controllers, and more than a dozen other instruments.
The Moku platform connects to a host computer via Wi-Fi or USB and is controlled through desktop software or Python and MATLAB APIs, making it well suited for research laboratories, university teaching environments, and embedded systems development where flexibility and bench space are at a premium.
Key Product Lines
- Moku:Lab — a versatile FPGA-based multi-instrument platform combining up to 12 instruments for research and teaching laboratories
- Moku:Pro — a high-performance reconfigurable instrument with wider bandwidth and additional analog channels for advanced research applications
- Moku:Go — a compact, affordable entry-level multi-instrument for students and portable field use
Industries Served
Liquid Instruments Moku devices are used in physics and electronics research laboratories, university teaching labs, photonics and quantum computing research, control systems engineering, and field instrumentation where portability and multi-function capability are required in a single unit.
