Kenwood, through its test and measurement division Kenwood TMI Corporation, produced a range of bench electronic instruments primarily for laboratory and industrial use in the Japanese and international markets. The brand's DC power supplies became well regarded for their stability and reliability in electronics development and production test environments. Kenwood TMI's instrument line later evolved into what is now marketed under the Texio Technology brand.
