Overview

The Keysight N2806A is a precision pulse generator that produces step pulses and square waves with world-leading edge speeds and spectral purity. Using a remote head design, the fast edge output connects directly to measurement points, eliminating signal degradation from cables. The generator features 2 differential RF outputs with simultaneous access to rising and falling edges, enabling differential step response measurements and time-domain reflectometry (TDR). The N2806A leverages Keysight's proprietary InP (indium phosphide) differential amplifier technology to achieve unprecedented pulse performance.
