Keysight M8040A 64 Gbaud BERT

Overview

The Keysight M8040A is a highly integrated bit error rate tester (BERT) designed for physical-layer characterization and compliance testing of devices operating at high data rates. Supporting both PAM4 and NRZ signal formats with data rates up to 64 Gbaud (128 Gbit/s), it covers all flavors of 200 and 400 GbE standards.

Engineered for R&D and test engineers, the M8040A characterizes chips, devices, transceiver modules, and sub-components with serial I/O ports in data center and communications applications. The included M8057A remote head enables flexible positioning close to the device under test for accurate measurements.
