Overview

The AMETEK MX45-3PI is a 45 kVA high-power AC/DC source designed for advanced automated test equipment (ATE) applications. This floor-standing system utilizes state-of-the-art PWM switching technology to deliver compact, robust performance. The unit features a menu-driven front panel controller with backlit LCD display for straightforward operation and includes measurement readback capabilities.

The MX45-3Pi supports programmable single and three-phase AC output with AC+DC mode capability. The regenerative "Green" power solution provides bidirectional operation with automatic source/sink mode crossover, enabling the system to regenerate up to 100% of rated output power back to the utility grid. Available with IEEE-488, RS232C, USB, and LAN remote control interfaces for seamless integration into automated test systems.
